This lesson was originally designed to celebrate the first ten days of the Persian New Year which are also the first ten days of spring. However, it was so popular that I modified it to be part of the G3 or G5 Persian block (or for younger children who you are wanting to teach global awareness to or who may have Middle Eastern or Persian friends or neighbors).
